Work and Holiday visa (subclass 462) allows applicants aged between 18 and 30 years old holding a passport from an eligible country to enter Australia for 12 months for work and holiday in Australia.
Working Holiday visa (subclass 417) allows applicants holding a passport from an eligible country or jurisdiction, aged between 18 and 30 years old except for Canadian, French and Irish citizens who can be 18 to 35 years old to enter Australia for 12 months for work and holiday in Australia.
Subclass 485 Replacement stream opened on 1 July 2022. Eligible applicants can apply online and can be in/outside of Australia. To be eligible, current/ previous subclass 485 visa holder (Main Applicant) must have lost time on their visa because of Australia’s COVID-19 travel restrictions and being outside of Australia while holding subclass 485 visa anytime between 1 February 2020 to 14 December 2021. Application for this stream must make before 1 January 2027.
From 1 July 2022 subclass 457 visa or subclass 482 visa holders can be nominated and apply for Permanent visa subclass 186 and 187 through the TRT program.
