NSW Nomination Requirements for (Subclass 190)

NSW Nomination Requirements for (Subclass 190)

A skilled Nominated visa(Subclass 190) is a permanent visa that should nominated by the Australian States/Territory. Each State & Territory sets its specific requirements and pathway. All applicants must fulfil all visa requirements outlined by Home Affairs of Australia.

Applicants cannot apply directly, they must be invited by the NSW and when they approve the nomination, only then the applicant can apply for the visa. NSW do not announce the invitation round and NSW has set its Target Sectors. NSW will prioritize EOIs on those occupations which are in the NSW target sectors.

NSW Basic eligibilities:

·Visa Eligibility: Applicants must meet all visa requirements outlined by Home Affairs for this visa.

·Skills assessment: An applicant must have a valid skills assessment in an occupation on the eligible skilled occupation list for this visa

·Residency: Applicants must currently residing in NSW or Offshore:

-in NSW and have continuously resided in NSW for a minimum period of six months; or

-offshore and have continuously resided offshore for a minimum period of six months.

·EOI specifically for NSW: Applicant’s EOI must be exclusively for the Skilled Nominated visa (Subclass190) and seeking nomination from NSW only.

Important notes:

NSW Target Sectors:

NSW's key industry sectors are Health, Education, ICT,Infrastructure, and Agriculture.

Key Steps for Securing NSW Nomination:

·Eligibility: Before submitting your EOI, ensure you meet both the visa and NSW nomination eligibility requirements.

·Submit Your EOI: If you meet the criteria, submit an EOI specifically requesting NSW nomination for subclass 190 visa only.

·Be Invited: NSW holds invitation rounds ongoing throughout the financial year. All EOIs that meet the guidelines are considered, but preference is given to occupations in NSW target sectors.

·Respond Promptly if Invited: You'll have 14 days to complete your application for NSW nomination after being invited. When you apply, you will need to provide valid documents to substantiate every claim made in your EOI. This 14-day window will not be extended.

Important: NSW nomination is in exceptionally high demand thus we strongly encourage anyone considering NSW nomination to explore all other migration pathways and not wait to be invited.
